Mysuru Dasara is a ten-day festival whose dates follow the ritual calendar, usually in September or October. Processions, palace-area events and large crowds make early accommodation and transport planning essential.

Hampi Utsava brings music, dance, folk performance and public programmes to the Hampi area. Dates and stage arrangements can change by edition, so confirm the official programme before booking around it.

Bengaluru Karaga centres on Dharmaraya Swamy Temple and a night procession in March or April. Its date follows the Hindu calendar.

Yakshagana performances occur across coastal Karnataka, often at night. Local hosts and current listings are more reliable than a fixed statewide schedule.

Kambala events take place in coastal districts after the paddy harvest, commonly from November through March. Venue and date are local rather than centralised.
