The Sala Capitolare's ceiling is the building's centerpiece: nine Tiepolo panels painted over a decade, anchored by the Madonna del Carmelo's apparition to the Blessed Simon Stock. Elsewhere, look for Antonio Gaspari's grand staircase, built to Longhena's design, and Alvise Bossi's gilded stuccowork throughout the building's barrel-vaulted rooms.
