Cincinnati’s attractions are close together and several of them are free, which makes it an unusually easy city to see in two or three days.
Union Terminal, west of downtown, holds several museums under one ticket and is itself the major sight.
Downtown and Over-the-Rhine run continuously north from the river and are walkable end to end, connected by a free streetcar loop. Fountain Square, Washington Park, Music Hall and Findlay Market are all on it.
Eden Park, on the hill east of downtown, holds the Cincinnati Art Museum, which is free, and the Krohn conservatory.
The riverfront has the Freedom Center, two stadiums and the bridge across to Kentucky.
The zoo, one of the oldest in the country, is a short drive north and is genuinely good.
