Valpolicella's attractions are spread across five valleys rather than gathered in a town. Villa della Torre and the Grotta di Fumane are in the Fumane valley; the Pieve di San Giorgio above Sant'Ambrogio; the Serego Alighieri estate at Gargagnago; and the Ponte di Veja in the mountains above them all. A car is essential.
