How to Get Around Canton

A car is necessary. The Hall of Fame, the McKinley sites and downtown are each a few miles apart, and the surrounding attractions require driving.

Parking is plentiful and cheap or free, except during enshrinement week when the whole arrangement changes and shuttles operate.

SARTA buses cover the county and run to Akron and Cleveland; service is limited outside working hours.

Walking works within the downtown arts district.

Getting here: the Akron-Canton airport is small but served; Cleveland Hopkins is about an hour north and has far more flights.

Amish country is half an hour south on rural roads; drive patiently and watch for buggies.
