Photo Contribution Terms

These terms apply specifically to photos you upload through Goparoo's traveler photo contribution feature -- see our general Terms of Use for everything else.

Your rights

You must have the right to upload the photo -- either you took it yourself, or you otherwise have permission to share it. Don't upload a photo you don't have the rights to.

What you keep

You keep the copyright to your photo. Uploading it to Goparoo doesn't transfer ownership.

What you grant Goparoo

You grant Goparoo a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, resize, and use your photo on Goparoo -- on the place's Photos page, your public contributor profile, and similar destination-photography features -- for as long as it remains approved and published.

Review

Every uploaded photo is reviewed before it becomes publicly visible. We may reject or remove a photo at our discretion -- for example if it's not actually of the place it's attributed to, infringes someone's rights, or contains inappropriate material.

Attribution

An approved photo is credited to you by name (or however your contributor profile is set up) wherever it appears.
